~~a peek into my perfectly imperfect life~~
Great thought here today. Yes- it is what we do-strive to fulfill our purpose...and first to try and figure out what that purpose is~ xo Diana
I agree with Diana, as I strive to fulfill my purpose, I find there are times, my purpose is so clear with only one way to fulfill it, and then, just as I clearly know where it is I'm going, I find another purpose...I guess someone greater than I, has a different plan for me at times... Boy you sure made me think...love ya, Debbie @ Cottage Hann~Me~Downs
Jojo, that is the 'key'/goal.....to find our true self again....one that is uncluttered by life....the one with which we are born. Thanks for this!
Oh yes, I meant to tell you how I LOVE that 'header'. It has such energy and spirit.
This might be true. This is the old Nurture/Nature debate. I'm not sure that it's valid to want the pure nature of our birth if we have to survive in THIS world... uncluttered though our beginnings may be. The challenge, it seems to me, is to learn how to survive this one life of ours and that takes all the energy of our experiences to achieve. Our birth and that "new" soul are in the past. We can reflect on it, but we will never return to it. Unless, of course, we start over again, reincarnate... here. But then, I'm confused about all of this anyway and, right now, I have chickens to feed and vegetables to water.
Jojo, it's just been too long since I last visited and I just spent some time getting caught up. I was so saddened to learn you too recently lost a beloved pet. Then I saw the sweet post of how you came to find Charlie. Your header of him and Maude is just precious. You are such a beautiful writer and I really enjoyed my visit over here tonight. Take care my friend. ~Lili
Hope you all have a blessed week, Joanne. ♥
