Spring in Seattle...

...pretty much Winter, Summer and Fall also!

picture of a picture I found the last time I went thrifting (not a word according to s-check) at my favourite spot, The Whistle Stop.

Have a good weekend, be safe, be happy, stay dry...you enough.

  3. Good Morning Sweetie...
Oh how I love this picture. What a gorgeous find. Don't you love it when you pop into your favorite Thrift store and out of the blue find just the perfect thing? Something that makes your heart "Happy"? Something that just says take me home? I love that most of all.

The photo makes me think of Dancing in the Rain, only she appears to be walking in the rain. Just so happy and smiling along the way. I love it. Umbrellas are fun aren't they?

Thank you for sharing dear one. All of my flowers are in full bloom right now, but when you are having beauty this Summer, mine will be gone from the desert heat. (I try keeping my plants in pots, so that I can move them around from place to place to avoid the heat, but sometimes even that doesn't help.) Just the hot air takes over them.

Have a glorious Sunday sweetie. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I love Seattle...haven't lived there, but used to live north about 2 hours in Chilliwach British Columbia, and we'd drive on down for the heck of it.

  8. I felt like I had moved to Seattle this weekend. I couldn't decide if I should clean my bedroom or build a boat.
Yaya is right we both need to find a thrift store like the one you go too. Lovely find...I would of snatched that up in a minute.
Glad it found a new home.

  9. I've always wanted to visit Seattle...maybe someday! It rained here in Oklahoma for two days and it was lovely. Our land is so dry and parched. That means FIRE for us!

Love going thrifting and this picture is just gorgeous. I'd have snagged it in a heartbeat!

Thank you for visiting me on my post about bullying...your comments meant so much~

  10. I love thrifting. I haven't had time to go for a few months now and I really miss it. There are such treasures in thrift shops.

Thanks for stopping by the Writing Nook. I really miss my old job as a telephone operator.

    Blessings,
    Mary

  11. Love that picture. Maybe because I too am a Northwesterner with webbed feet, but I just love pictures with umbrellas in them! Great find!
