"the nicest and the sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple pleasure, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

a heart full...

...of gratitude.  Thank you for the kindness, the grace, the concern, the compassion, the hope, the strength that you have shown us and particularly my hubby and our dear Gracie.  It is overwhelming to have such a source of friendship and fellowship.  Your words have been a balm to our weary souls.

Winner of the My Memories Suite will be announced tomorrow.  G'nite all.

  4. I have been off line for several weeks...been tending to some special people in my life. My dear dear 90 year old Mother-in-law had a stroke over the week-end and my dear dear father-in-law turned 90 the next day. We also attended my brother-in-law's mother's funeral yesterday, so I have been a little out of the loop. I am sorry to hear about Gracie. Wish I could have gotten in on the give away, but missed my chance. Take care! As always, I love your posts!!

  6. I love Richard Paul Evans...I heard him speak at a state sponsored womans conference once in Salt Lake City. He was incredible.
It is an interesting thing...but I (we) feel so much more fulfilled when we had the opportunity to GIVE, then to receive.

  7. I am catching up today and am so sad to hear about all your trials. I am also grateful each morning to see that my Emmy wakes one more day. It is hard to say goodbye to an old faithful friend. I will hold you and your husband in my thoughts and prayers.

  9. Oh my goodness Jojo. I am so sorry about your dear, dear friends. My prayers are with you and your husband right now with all the losses.
I am so sorry about Gracie too. It is such a hard thing to watch them suffer with cancer. I lost my beautiful whippet four years ago to cancer. It is a hard thing to watch them go out of our lives after we have loved them so much.
I'll be praying for you all.
    hugs from here...
