I can honestly say that this hasn't been the best day I've ever had. I don't think that I've done much, or anything, to embrace my spirit or passion. I must rectify this as soon as possible, for too many days without passion are just too many days spent alone.
How about you?

Hmm. Sometimes being alone is a passion.
ReplyDeleteI hope to day is better and that you have a wonderful weekend, Jojo!
So true...maybe we should read that every morning as a reminder....hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteBeing alone is something I've learned to appreciate. It makes all interactions all that much more meaningful. Of course if someone wakes me up...well, that's a different story. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is hard to measure up to what we think we are supposed to do.
ReplyDeleteThis post reminded me of what a good friend in college used to say-
everybody's doing the best they can.
You hang on Miss-

Sounds like it's time to take a trip to the local Goodwill or somewhere and find another treasure like your white basket. I can totally identify with how you feel...wish we were closer. Love you. Will call this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am without passion about something, anything, it shows.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more, Jojo! So on that 'note' this morning I headed out to the garden for two hours! It worked! Got my mind off of things that didn't need to be 'gone over' for the umteenth time.
ReplyDeletehow about a big hug?
ReplyDeletethat is just how I feel lately. I feel like I am missing something. You put your finger on it, it's passion!
ReplyDeleteSome days are a little more passionate than others.Just get up tomorrow and do one thing that makes you feel hopeful, passionate or happy. As a favorite uncle says...
ReplyDeleteAlways look at what you can do with love and it usually turns out right.
Learn to be alone with yourself. It can be a wonderful, relieving interaction with your soul.
I have stretches of days like that...just a burnt out feeling. Usually some rest and stress-free activities help.
ReplyDeleteI love solitude and feel my most inspired when I can think in the quiet!
Sounds like my everyday. I do feel like I have lost passion for everything. I will see 5 of my grandchildren this next week. Hopefully that renews my passion and spirit. I too, wish we lived closer. I would love a big hug from you!!! My step daughter that lived near you, her hubby got transferred to Georgia for 3 yrs, so we won't be coming up there any time soon :(
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great and fun holiday!! Kiss that sweet baby girl Maude for me. ILY!
God Bless~
Debbie
I must admit, I do love my solitude. It nourishes and revitalizes me.
ReplyDeleteBut, you're not alone, JoJo ~~ you have us. :-)
Cheers!
Jo
What is passion?
ReplyDeleteI did get out and weed in the garden for about an hour before I petered out. And after 10 or 11 a.m. it gets too hot for me to last very long.
But I was proud to at least do that much...

Does sinus surgery count?
ReplyDeleteI feel I have no motivation and I believe you put a name to the reason. No passion.
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm alone (David lives here, but I'm alone), I have no one to do things for except myself. Maybe I don't feel as if I'm worthy enough of doing it for me.
Good grief. Where did that come from? I must give this some thought.
Love you sweetie and we're all just hangin in there.
I love this...I have saved it as a daily reminder!
