"the nicest and the sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple pleasure, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string."

Heartfelt Friday...

twirl me around
twirl me around
let me grow dizzy
and fall to the ground.
and when I look up
at you looking down
say it was only a dream...

  5. Hehe... I love this. Let's twirl together. Did you ever do that with a friend when you were younger. You join hands and just go round and round til your feet felt like rubber and your belly was in your throat. SO FUN.

  14. When I was a kid, I used to love to twirl; I would do it until I fell down. Guess it beats drinking until you fall down, huh? HAHA!!! :)

    Now I like it when all the twirling--that is NOT of my choosing--stops and it seems like I might NOT fall down. Now I just have to work on getting it to happen that way a little more often.

    It is very pretty here on your blog; I like this look. Just like I like you.

  15. My dear JoJo,

    I apologize for being a bad bloggy friend, too, so it's good that we understand each other. It's hard, isn't it? I am so sorry to read that you have been struggling. I do hope that you feel better soon.

    I was just catching up and saw the BEAUTIFUL pictures of your son's wedding. Mazel Tov and congratulations on having a new daughter. She is lovely and your son is so handsome. May they grow together in happiness and health and may they provide you with grandbabies!!!

    Take good care and know that you are still in my thoughts and prayers.

    Big gentle hugs,
    Debbie
